Word and Excel Automation Using .Net and C++

We a buggy program developed in .Net and VSTO. The purpose is relink cells between word and excel to ease reporting process. Problem: not all cells are changing. also, whenever we try to paste file (it would reopen the original excel file that it is linked to) causing the file to hang. Original posting: Software engineering needed for Microsoft Word/Excel integration. Software will have a button that is executable from Microsoft Word that allows to do the following: 1) Open up an Open File Dialog that allows the user to select an Excel Spreadsheet file. This file will then replace the specified LINKs that are already embedded into the Word file. This LINK must be selectable by the end user and all instances of that will be replaced in the file. 2) Open up an Open File Dialog that allows the user to select a Word file to inject into this particular word file at the cursor. The injected file will have LINKS in the file. Those LINKS must all be updated to the string specified in #1.
