Hello, Cristian here for a small band of C/C++ veteran guys from Iasi, Romania. About experience: I am myself the lead developer of Bitdefender Safepay, a Chromium-Embedded (CEF) based browser, doing monthly CEF builds since 2011 (also a contributor to CEF) and extensive CEF/Chrome debug experience as well. About the build: never tried specifically on Debian 8, I admit it, but we built Chromium and Chromium Embedded on a handful of non-Ubuntu distros (mainly we do this on Win32). As I am writing this, a VBox machine with Debian 8.0 en-US is in the process of building Chromium, with all steps fully documented. Since there can be many traps and pitfalls (especially dependencies which are one of the headaches source), I would like to have the build 100% complete and working first. In any case, this should complete in approximately one day, and will get back with an update if you are interested in us to complete this. Regards, Cristian
