Hi there, we can use leaflet js for the map functions and the arc plugin for creating the arc between 2 pints (lat/lng). For external triggering, we need to use a server side api e.g. nodejs and to enable realtime showing of the arc (created by external event) we need to use socket.io. so you can send the lat/lng from another browser and the arc will be created in realtime on your screen using leafletjs. As I have worked with SVGs with plain JS and with the d3.js library. Although, I'm giving myself two days due to work. As for receiving, would you prefer a github repository so that you may clone it and go? How do you want the SVG sent to the page, streamed to help larger files transfer faster?
