Did you consider doing this application using ionic 4 and Angular ? With Ionic, you can get an iOS application, an Android application, a standard website or Progressive Web Applications, and even a native desktop application. Of Course we can do it only with Angular , but Ionic allows you to fast deploy it on iphone and android devices, maybe the parents would like that better to enhance the UX.
