A Teacher's Guide to Living and Working in Hanoi (Book Cover Design)

Hello, I've just finished writing a reference book for ESL teachers living in Hanoi. It is a 6x9 reference book which I have entered into a book template which you can see here - [login to view URL] - if you would like to see some of the content of the book, and the kind of things I am writing about then have a look at the Facebook page here [login to view URL] . I need a cover for the book which has the following things; the name of the book 'A Teacher's Guide to Living and Working in Hanoi, Vietnam (on the front and spine of the book)', my name 'Jack Cannon' (on the front and spine), and some sort of graphic design element that denotes it is about education and/or Vietnam. I'd also like a blurb about the book as well as some sort of graphic element on the back of the book - I'll supply the blurb at a later date. I have no design skills myself, that is why I am writing this, however I do have a few preferences. I'd prefer if the graphics were minimal and eye-catching, and I'd like to avoid visual cliches surrounding Vietnam (conical hats, bicycles, rice paddies - that sort of thing). Also, all of the profit from this book will go towards the Blue Dragon's Children Foundation here in Vietnam [login to view URL] so,, even though I've set the budget between $30 and $250, I would like to keep the price as low as possible so we can make more money for underprivileged children so they can get to school, and benefit from some of the ideas in the book, and the teachers who will (hopefully) use them. If possible I'd like to see examples of previous work done by yourself, particularly if you have designed book covers before. Many thanks! Jack Cannon
