Create Calculator Based on Golf League Scores

DESCRIPTION A Program that calculates a league handicap or number for each participant based on weekly scores for golf league players that runs from the beginning of May until the mid September. 16 to 24 weeks. NEEDS • A Program that calculates a league handicap or number based on scores. • Identifies best 4 of last 7 scores as seen in attached screenshot. • A league “manager” would have the ability to log into my website, click on my link and download scores from league players. • Program would compute their handicaps based on a mathematical formula. League Manager could then upload all league players back up to their own computer and print. • League Managers would do this on a weekly basis and would have the ability to view the info at any given point in time by simply logging into the website and viewing their league. • Players may be added to the league on a weekly basis at the discretion of the league manager. • League players would be sorted in alphabetical order by the program once players have been downloaded. • Some Players may not necessarily play each week in which case they are provided with a DNP PRIOR TO 7 SCORES When less than 7 rounds are available: • round 1: Number provided by league manager. Initial starting number. • round 2: take the lower of either the initial index or last weeks differential, then take .96 • round 3: average of best 2 differentials from the 3 values available (initial index & past two round’s results), then take .96 • round 4: average of best 2 differentials from the 4 values available (initial index & past three round’s results), then take .96 • round 5: average of best 3 differentials from the 5 values available (initial index & past four round’s results), then take .96 • round 6: average of best 3 differentials from the 6 values available (initial index & past five round’s results), then take .96 • round 7: average of best 4 differentials from the 7 values available (initial index & past 6 round’s results), then take .96 • round 8: average of best 4 differentials from the last 7 rounds, then take .96
