relupop - Engineer - PIVOTING LOCKING MECHANISM for Swiveling Table

Project Description: I need an Engineer or Industrial designer to come up with a PIVOTING LOCKING MECHANISM for a rotating table on 1 pivot axis (there is no need to design the table). See attached preliminary Sketch of my idea for the PIVOTING LOCKING MECHANISM. The custom build table from steel parts (flat bars ¼”x 2”, angles, rod ½” and pipe sleeve) should do the following: 1. Table will be attached to the wall 2in away with a ½ pipe on both sides 2. Circular rod & pipe will be located at center of the table 3. Table size 36in wide x 40in long 4. I should be able to swivel the table from 0 degrees to 180 degrees 5. I should be able to stop the table at different degree points 6. There should be a simple metal arm or handle under the table to release or turn. The arm should extend from the Pivot to edge of the table. 7. There would be 2 Pivots on left and right side of the table. Pleas provide sketches or photos of your previous projects. I need to be assured that you can do this before I give you the project. 8. I need a solution for an extended arm near the edge of desk to release the clamping mechanism so that the table can rotate to desirable angle.
