Hi there, I'm just done with checking the manual. The requirements look quite clear and straightforward. As you might be already aware of there're 3 options for programming; VISA drivers, IVI drivers or sockets. I'm not sure about your particular position in this regard but there might licensing issues for VISA drivers and since IVI is built upon it I guess same thing applies to it as well. If multiple clients are supposed to connect to the instrument, sockets is the only option. Regardless of the option you choose, the program will expose every possible operation via the GUI. Per your request I'll use VB.net to implement the application. I expect this to take 10 days at most, thanks.

I'm experienced developer (over 17 years of commercial exprience). looking at the spec documentations you've provided a simple text protocol can be used to interact with that power supply. If you provide me remote access to this device via ssh tunnnel (for app testing purposes) i can do it really quick. Regards Janusz Pulit
