Our organization is currently looking for a copywriter for collaborations on a long-term basis (freelance). We are redeveloping our website and need a copywriter that will proofread and edit the content we provide. Additionally, we will require the same services to assist the creation of brochures, reports and other marketing material. Our organization provides analyzer solutions for the oil & gas industry. Knowledge of this industry and a technical background is therefore required. Applicants with no experience in this industry will not be considered. Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in English or related field - 3+ years’ experience writing for the oil & gas industry - Proficient in SEO and traffic-building best practices - Strong attention to detail, quality and accuracy - Ability to write for a diversity of audiences - Creative writing skills Tasks will include editing, proofreading or altering text for: - The website - Both print and digital brochures, product spec sheets, official reports etc. - Powerpoint presentations - Advertisements - Email campaigns Hours of work required will vary per week between 0 - 10. We will merely consider applicants that fit the above-menionted requirements and can prove they fit the profile.

Never as a vocation, my writing has always been a source of personal reward. From my junior high school journalism class and the school paper on, I have always enjoyed the challenge of piling one word on top of another until a coherent thought emerges. While pursuing an engineering and business career, I always found opportunities to implant a few of those words on some paper that was seen by others. Stops in between included military service spent in the post public information office sending out news releases and variously sports editing and editing the post newspaper.
