Need writers that will create content across a few categories of service. Ideally full-time/on a contractor position - but can start on a project basis. We need to create content for several stages -> Awareness of customer issues/problems -> Consideration of the paths to take -> Decision making stage, when choosing between providers. Understand these three stages deeply and in terms of the content that would appeal to them. The ideal content writer - will understand 1. The persona(s) we are targeting. 2. The clients/buyer's journey above so we can aim the write content to grab their attention and action. 3. Have or can obtain the technical skills necessary for speaking in depth in their articles about our respective fields. What you need in skills + ability: - Exceptional writing ability - grammar and language - Witty ability and a sharp personality that comes across in your writing (If your writing ability is NOT top notch - please don't apply. We want WRITERS. Excite us. Engage us. Bore us and be ignored.) Ideal (meaning can be trained, but nice to have): - Hubspot certifications (Inbound Marketing, Content, and Inbound Sales) - Experience with CRM software and an indepth understand of the differences between platforms (Zoho, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics) - Experience building inbound marketing presence. (Explain and share case studies to show your contribution. Our brand voice: - Academic (meaning, show citations and be scientific in your thinking. VERY lacking in our space.) - Professional - Witty (Can crack a joke, or see connections between problems/scenarios) - Sharp (Fast and insightful) The goal is to demonstrate expertise, and professional aptitude - while the witty helps make us more approachable. We are NOT a low end provider, hence the voice must match our standards. Approach your writing samples with our voice in mind. Target Industries (Markets in the US, later Canada, UK + Australia) - Finance, - high-growth startups (B2C), - Specialized IT companies, and - B2B product or service companies.
