ASP.Net Core REST App to Upload Images to MSSQL and GET an Image (Note: I am re-hiring a great FreeLancer I have already worked with, so bidding on this project will be ignored, but this will be a fun way to see who bids on projects without reading the summary first...) We are looking for a minimal, bare-bones, simple ASP.Net Core Application that uploads an image JPG, PNG or BMP (anywhere from 1kb to 1mb) through ASP to a MS SQL table with a VarBinary(MAX) field and an ID field. The ASP script answers with an OK and the new ID number from the upload. A GET request with the ID number returns the image to be directly displayed in a web browser or for download. A password parameter in both the POST/Upload and the GET will control whether someone can successful do either task. REQUIREMENTS ----------------------- - DO NOT BID AND THEN ASK FOR IMMEDIATE PAYMENT RIGHT AFTER I AWARD THE PROJECT TO THE WINNER. I WILL FUND THE MILESTONE AFTER AWARDING THE PROJECT AND RELEASE THE MILESTONE AFTER VERIFYING YOUR WORK. IF YOU CHANGE THE TERMS OR ATTEMPT TO ASK FOR MONEY UP FRONT, I WILL IMMEDIATELY CANCEL YOUR BID. - Must work on Microsoft Visual Studio Community Edition 2017. - Must connect against a Microsoft SQL Server using a connection string. - We must be able to connect and replicate your success against our server to release funds. - We will setup a milestone and release funds as soon as possible after verifying your solution works on our end. - You must have your own database server to test against. Company rules do not allow outside access to our database server, but the specific queries and data are not that important to us. We just need the ASP.Net Core layer to connect a couple queries to JSON output. We can provide sample data, but a simple table with a VarBinary(MAX) and an ID field is fine. Bonus for have a DateCreated field. - The queries are stored inside the ASP.Net app you develop. The only things passed are parameters.
