6+3=9 The unit which will be directly linked to internet is raspberry, the motor would be linked to ardiono, and arduino would be acted as analog to digital module for raspberry so it would be middle tier between raspberry and motor. So, your raspberry will translate the alexa echo to serial communication request over arduino, and arduino will instruct it to motor, thats it. The flow can be reversed when alexa require to read status of motor: arduino read status, send back to serial to raspbbery, and raspberry send back to alexa
