We are planning to relocate a 115 kV electric transmission line due to a highway project in the vicinity. The new line route parallels a gas line for approximately 0.8 miles. We require an AC induction study prior to proceeding with construction so a timely response is essential. The study will need to model the HVAC interference and step & touch voltage potential on above ground metallic structures from the new power line and any lightning effects on the pipeline. You will be required to provide calculations to demonstrate the expected AC induction voltage on the pipeline under steady state and fault conditions.
