The problem is that, all the most popular Indian payment gateways only allow Indians who are physically in India to have a merchant account. Indians do not use the same payment methods as Westerners, most of them do not have a credit card or Paypal account. I am therefore forced to use stripe or paypal to receive payments but they do not accept the most popular payment methods in India such as UPI, Indian debit card, PhonePe wallet, Google pay wallet, Paytm, RuPay, etc. So I'm looking for a way to open an account on a payment gateway allowing Indians to pay online with the most popular local payment methods.
