I have semistructured data in bigquery that I need to load into Redshift. I have got the data into AWS S3 no issues, but Redshift does not seem to support the same nested and repeated fields that BigQuery does. I need help converting the BigQuery DDL into the redshift CREATE TABLE and COPY sql commands so I can load the data in (see sample file, its NDJSON, and also see the attached SQL which is the DDL statement to create the table in BigQuery.

I need to build a data pipeline that pulls data from a MySQL server, then analyzes data to create a health score. Initial version could just collect historical data in BigQuery, then run a predetermined metric that is also stored in the MySQL database- this is multi-tenet- so you would pull data every hour then loop through each “tenent”, once score is calculated then we push updated score back to MySQL. We're building our first fully-fledged external API and I would like to discuss implementation strategies, best practices, and receive general advice. We use BigQuery for our data store. Simply, we'd like to start with two actions. A POST to /orders with a list of orders which is then stored in BigQuery. And a GET to /orders which returns a list of order IDs for that user that have already been stored in BigQuery. Obviously, we'll need authentication and some additional information attached to each of those requests. There will also (likely) be a data cleaning/validation step. We're considering using GCP API Gateway and PubSub to handle this.
