I require an experienced developer with a solid grasp of PHP and Codenaighter to assist with a challenge I'm currently facing. I am in the process of changing an input field into a dropdown or combobox on a web form - an attempt that has so far proven unsuccessful. - The Task: The objective is to enhance the user's experience by reducing input fatigue on their end. The dropdown or combobox should be able to provide a list of pre-set, selectable values that the user can pick from with ease.
