Make a service for adding entries to journal

We are developing a chat/journal application that you can try out at [url removed, login to view]

It is PHP, MySQL, Apache on Linux.

We want to create a webpage/service that enters messages into our 'journal' application:

A page called [url removed, login to view] should be created, taking as arguments a username and password, and the line of text to be written to the journal. The function should verify that the password is correct for the username, and then write the information into the journal database (journal->entries), as well as the calling IP address and time. The page should also then query the database to ensure that the item was successfully written, and finally return a success/failure code.

Finally, to prove that this thing is working and make the first service connection, add a call to the sendlove system ([url removed, login to view]) that enters any new love as a journal entry from a journal account named robot_love. I.E. on sending love, journal users should see entry in journal like "Robot_Love: Philip to Garth: Great work today!"

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows? (depending on the nature? of the deliverables):

a)? For web sites or? other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software? installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
