PhpScheduleit customization -- 4

The project requires the latest version of PhpSheduleit, which is now called Booked, to be customized for dog kennel bookings. The following updates are required:

1) Customer accounts needs extending to allow the customer to add, edit, and delete multiple dogs each with the following data fields (data validation required):

a) Dog name - varchar field

b) Breed - varchar field

c) Features – text field

d) Gender – male/female radio buttons

e) Neutered - yes/no radio buttons

f) Date of Birth – varchar field with js calendar for date selection

g) Vet Name - varchar field

h) Vet telephone number

i) Microchipped? - yes/no radio buttons

j) Insured? – yes/no radio buttons

k) Health or medical information – text field

l) Vaccinations – 2 questions - each with varchar field with js calendar for date selection

i) Date of most recent annual booster vaccination?

ii) Date of most recent kennel cough vaccination?

m) Food information – 5 questions

i) Does your dog have a sensitive stomach &/or food allergy? – yes/no radio buttons

ii) What does your dog eat at home? – text field

iii) Are you happy for us to supply the closest to this that we stock, or would you prefer to bring your own to avoid a change in diet? (there is no price adjustment for this). – radio buttons

iv) If your dog won’t eat are you happy for us to ‘cheer up’ his food by adding tasty morsels of meat, fish or gravy to it? – yes/no radio buttons

v) If you have more than one dog, is it best to separate them at feed time (if one is greedy & other slow eater or they may fight)? – yes/no radio buttons

n) Social information – text field

o) Weather information – text field

p) Grooming information – text field

q) Colour - varchar field

2) Admin section needs extending to allow the addition, editing, and deletion of dogs on customer records (same data fields as above).

3) Reservations needs extending to allow multiple dogs to be assigned (in addition to the customer details), in the customer and admin sections.

4) New reservation section – the following fields/functions will not be used and need hiding by commenting out:

a) Repeat

b) Title of reservation

c) Description of reservation

d) Participant list to be replaced by dog selection

e) Invitees

f) Additional attributes

g) Groups

5) Customer/user’s top menu option Schedule to be removed; Bookings, My Calendar, and Resource Calendar will not be used and will not be accessible.

6) Admin calendar to show days (condensed template) by default rather than half hourly, links to other templates to be removed.

7) References to hours to be removed as bookings will be by the day.

8) The Quotas section to be changed to only allow quotas to be set as number of dogs per resource, and once the quota has been reached the colour of the reservation in the bookings schedule will change to red.

9) The bookings schedule will be extended to show the total number of dogs booked in across all resources per day.

10) A ‘Boarding Record’ report (see attached file for layout) is to be created in editable format using an online html editor called CKEditor. A button shall be provided in the reservation details screen for printing. A button will also be provided in the bookings schedule section for printing all Boarding Records that start on the current day.

11) Reservations need extending to allow the following data entry:

a) Amount paid – decimal with 2 decimal places

b) Cash or Cheque – radio buttons
