Identify Sales Thru Affiliates

We already have an existing live website with on-line ordering and payment capability (Worldpay) and we are marketing to drive traffic to that site.

We have 2 business partners/affiliates with large mailing lists who are willing to mail our marketing messages to their lists. We have agreed to pay them each a commission on any sales that come through their respective channels.

Products are relatively high value (£200-1,000 per unit) and commissions will be about 10%, so each commission is reasonably high value and needs to be reported accurately.

We need a solution to identify, track and report on sales that arise through their individual channel (mailing list). In other words, we need to segregate which sales are coming through our own regular marketing, which sales are coming through Affiliate #1 and which are coming through Affiliate #2.

We envisage the solution to be some kind of unique URL assigned to each Affiliate with cookies to identify & report sales from use of that unique URL. The Affiliates would then tell their mailing list to use that URL to visit the site and place orders.

This is a very short & simple project for a programmer who knows what they are doing.

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
