I am looking for a sound engineer to provide live sound mixing services for a Bedford UK based band that plays music in a variety of genres, but mostly Irish Celtic folk rock, called The Life Of Riley . The sound engineering services will be required for multiple, specified events as we gig most weekends. This is a fairly casual job that requires an engineer with experience in mixing a variety of instruments and sounds, as we have a number of acoustic instruments also we are not huge but have lots of gigs and are a 6 piece set up with own PA and wireless berenger mixing system on app / tablet The engineer must also be able to mix different styles of music and ensure a consistent sound that meets the band’s expectations. We are very flexible and transport to and from gig is provided. It may even suit a person who is starting love works and looking for more experience of love works and different venues.
