VRP solver model had been adjusted to customer's requirement to handle multi trip and pickup target to maximize profit. Now focus is model be capable to minimize unit cost at high % complete level, time window type equal hard is working well, new macros are included into vrp solver menu, and better visualization capabilities.
So they are 4 objectives to achieve here:
1. Modify VRP solver codes with time window type=Soft to keep maximizing profit (product unit price > $0) or minimizing cost (product unit price = $0) with a low and fix minimum pickup quantity (MPQ). Attached file VRP_Z_Soft with 2 examples of solutions. See worksheets "4.Solution MPQ=10" and "4.Solution MPQ=21". Based on achieving % completes vs target >=98% and the lowest unit cost, second solution seems to be the lowest unit cost solution that must be reached with MPQ<=21 units.
2. Modify VRP solver codes with time window type=Hard to keep maximizing profit or minimizing cost with a low and fix minimum pickup quantity. Attached file VRP_Z_Hard. It contains an example about vrp model is not working well at a multi-trip scenario. Need to update codes similar to ones with time window type=Soft.
3. Add to VRP Spreadsheet Solver menu the following macros:
- "Near ST" macro under 1.Locations/1.4 Populate Near Storage Location, and,
- "Run Setup KPIs" macro under new 7.KPIs/7.1 Setup Operational KPIs.
4. Improve map display in 5.visualization worksheet. We need to:
- Center map around depot location after we run '5.Setup Visualization' macro
- Zoom in/Zoom out map getting more or less details in the background such us: major locations, roads, etc
- Scroll map down/up/left/right with arrow keys and not only with vertical/horizontal side bars.

The agreed amount will be split on 4 payments, one per objective and will be released only after each objetive is tested and approved by employer. All communications must be through freelancer chat, don't ask for other via please.
