· Role: I have been involved in development and testing.
It is telecom network management product. My role is there in FM (fault management). This module monitors all network elements to be managed and gives information at remote operator. From the remote control room operator can check and control health, configuration, performance, faults etc. This management of events and polling is happening over SNMP protocol.
Project 2.
· Name: SMS Express

· Role: Involved in design, development and testing of the product.
SMS Express is an application that manages SMS messages on Palm device. The application facilitates sending, receiving, composing and editing SMS messages. Also, it maintains a Phone Book similar to one in mobile phone. The application communicates with the mobile using IR (Infra-Red). The communication takes place using AT Command set specified in the GSM 7.07 Specification. The phone book from the mobile comprised of phone number and corresponding names can be directly downloaded from the mobile to Palm. New entries can be added only to the Palm but not to the phone. The downloaded entries from the mobile phone can be modified in the Palm. The application provides a mechanism to search messages based on word and/or phone number based on a date criteria. The templates are also made available with the application for the ease of composing a message.
Worked in the design and development of the entire application including a library for interfacing with Mobile phone’s IR Port, and also worked for the user interface for it.

· Role: Creation of Design, test plan and test design documents and Development of project. Got acquainted with Windows CE OS. The operating system is based on a new concept that provides a very small footprint in terms of memory requirement in the embedded systems and fast response time to events.
This product is a word processor application for Pocket PC. This word processor is similar to MS Word on Windows platform. The user will be able to type and edit text. It allows all editing facility like Cut, Copy, Paste and formatting the text. One can insert table and bitmap also. It allows saving the file with its format.

Developing project in VB 6.0, and SQL Server 7.0 to computerize all the processes of Material Management in Doshion Exchange And Chemical Industries Limited, Vatva, and Ahmedabad. This software will computerize the entire task like creating PDN (Purchase Demand Note), PO (Purchase Order) and MRC (Material Receipt). This software provides synchronization of database of all 4 branches of Doshion Exchange and Chemical Industries Limited located at Vatva (Ahmedabad), Kathwada (Ahmedabad), Delhi and Chennai.

This software computerized the entire task like receiving entry of rough diamond, issuing and receipt entry of cutting ghat and polish ghat, repairing entry. There are two other modules of the software also, one is Main DIMS and another is Account.

This software computerized the entire task like MRC (Material Receipt) entry, making Invoices, Intermediate and Finished goods entry and packing material entry. This software is require only three entry and it generate excise related RG1, RG23-I, RG23-II reports automatically.

In this short project I have to make one Font.dll file that can be added in to any VC++ or VB 6.0 module. This DLL file should contain Dialog box within it for selecting font and color.
