I am a very flexible writer with a confident and professional written style, and I have an excellent academic background and good professional experience. I graduated in July 2011 with a first in Classics and a Theology and Philosophy-based Associateship from King's College London. For the former I was awarded the H.H. Scullard Prize for the best final year dissertation in the department of Classics, and the latter The Second Leathes prize for achievement in the Associateship exam.
I achieved three As at A Level, including 100% in both my Latin Literature paper and all three English Literature modules, as well as gaining a distinction in the English Literature Advanced Extension Award paper.
Whilst at university, I also wrote on a wide variety of topics for The London Student Paper and my departmental magazine as well as proof-reading for the King's College London magazine, Roar.
Since graduating, I have completed a four month internship with an MP in both his parliamentary and constituency offices, for which I was required to write a very large volume of daily correspondence, topical research briefings, several weekly press releases and casework documents.
I now work as a freelance writer, writing everything from copy for a wide variety of blogs and websites to song lyrics and poetry for special occasions. I am confident writing on a very wide range of topics from ancient history, literature and the Arts to politics, current affairs and business.
