Although I aspired to be a full-stack software engineer, experience inclines steeply towards front-end development. I started dipping my toe into the world of web with PHP and Drupal but later on decided to focus on JavaScript as I liked it better for its asynchronous, functional nature with cleaner syntax, and also for its universal reach across multiple platforms. I have 7+ years’ experience in software development and extensive knowledge of JavaScript ecosystem (ES2015 and beyond) with React.js, Redux, RxJS, React Router, Styled Components, Material UI, Jest, Cypress, D3.js, Firebase, AWS and much more. I’m an avid learner and like to keep myself busy at my leisure following the latest and greatest technologies even if I don’t get to use them at work; recent interests include functional programming with Haskell/Elm, would love to venture into artificial intelligence and/or 3D development some day.
