USSD Application
The IVR system (Call center) will play a backup role for users that are not in the know-how to use internet applications. A farmer using a feature phone with no internet can call our toll free customer care number for assistance and get registered instantly and be required to dial the short code example *100*00# to activate his USSD account and obtain a pin. The USSD platform will have basic information and transnational information for the participants, who are to get paid for providing a service. For example, the farmers are to be paid per week as per agreed KPIs achievement. The supervisor using the mobile application will be able to send a report with images of the weekly completion task, once verified the farmers instantly get their weekly work payment disbursed directly to their phone’s (mobile money wallets), no need to fill paper works. Same for other service providers, unless the amounts are nontransferable due to mobile money transfer limitation then a bank transfer
