There is an exponential increase in gate tunneling leakage current with decreasing dielectric thickness in a thin film transistor. An optimized set of parameters is being tried to set up with the above mentioned material combinations that can achieve maximum capacitance to generate good enough field-effect even at low gate voltages for low power applications while maintaining an extremely low leakage.
