Function to auto field with Contact ID in ZOHO CRM in Deals

We are looking for a Zoho CRM expert to help us create a custom function that will automatically fill in the Contact ID field in the Deals module. [login to view URL]

Here are the steps we need to follow:

Go to Setup -> Automation -> Actions -> Functions -> Configure Function -> Write Your Own.

Choose the module as 'Deals'.

Give a custom function name.

Copy and paste the code provided by us (or the code that the freelancer will develop).

Click on edit arguments and update the key and param values.

Click on save and associate it with the workflow rule.

We need the function to work as follows:

contactId = [login to view URL]("CONTACTID");

mp = Map();

[login to view URL]("Contact_ID", contactId);

resp = [login to view URL]("Deals", dealId, mp);

When a new Deal is created or an existing Deal is edited in Zoho CRM, the function should automatically retrieve the Contact ID associated with the Deal (assuming it is already linked to a Contact).

The function should then update the Contact ID field in the Deal record with the retrieved Contact ID value.

The function should be associated with a workflow rule that will trigger it whenever a new Deal is created or an existing Deal is edited.

We will provide the freelancer with access to our Zoho CRM account, as well as the specific code that needs to be used to update the Contact ID field. We need the freelancer to modify this code as necessary to make it work with our workflow.

The ideal candidate for this project should have the following skills and experience:

Expert-level knowledge of Zoho CRM, including custom functions and workflow rules.

Strong experience working with Zoho CRM's API and development tools.

Experience developing custom functions and automations in Zoho CRM.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
