PowerMTA Email Server Administrator -- 3

Job Summary:

The Email Administrator will develop the companys electronic mail network, administer related policies, and recommend network enhancements.

Objective:

Our main goal is to find someone with direct experience in using Power MTA to optimize email delivery for prospects, particularly with Gmail and [login to view URL], for example.

Duties/Responsibilities:

VPS build and set up

PMTA installation

Config file set up

Large IP pool and rotation

Different ISP configs

DKIM set up

SPF and reverse PTR set up

DNS set up

Monitors and maintains the company network email system; performs quality and spot checks of system performance.

Troubleshoots and resolves issues with and related to email systems.

Drafts policies and documents related to the acceptable use and standards of the system.

Develops and maintains the company email protocol

Recommends message retention and archive destruction timeframes.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

At least 2 years experience in bulk email is required.

At least 1 year in PMTA is required.

Associates degree in Computer Science, or Bachelors degree preferred.
