You have been made a Quality Assurance Analyst in charge of an Online Travel Booking
Application that allows customers to book and create itineraries on the platform. The project is
being funded by the Managing Director of Mercury Tours Limited, and other stakeholders
include the Project Team, the company’s CEO, the Legal department, Sales, and Finance.
Along with the new position you get:
A Software testing & Quality Assurance Team
A completely developed web application ([login to view URL])
Two Different Automation Testing tools (QTP/HP-UFT and Selenium IDE)
A username and password to access the developed application.
You are going to follow the test case template and Manual and Automated testing
techniques discussed to do this assignment. As part of this you need to design a test case
document for the entire testing project and execute the tests following manual and
automated testing as described below:

The assignment tasks are divided into 5:
1. Download and install QTP/HP-UFT and Selenium IDE, and capture all relevant
screenshots.
2. Design Test cases to be executed in the web application (see document attached)
3. Execute and document all the identified test cases using manual Testing Technique.
4. Execute any one test case using Selenium IDE Automated testing Tool.
5. Execute any one test case using QTP/HP-UFT Automated Testing Tool
