Often (not always), the loading icon disappears, and nothing displays on my website for up to 10 seconds... then finally the content shows up. In those 10 seconds people thing the website is broken and they go away.

So this is not a project about making my website faster. This is a project about keeping that loading icon going until the content is truly loaded.
