I require a website designer / builder, who is also proficient in creating simple underlying databases such that the website runs off of user inputs and subsequent database referencing.
I require the databases to be established in such a way that they can be simply updated / added to by a layman (e.g., me) and that the creator of the site would complete a procedural document on how these static updates can be done.
the successful candidate will be able to evidence websites they have worked on - that operate off a similar 'user input' > 'database lookup' > 'return results' model.
One of the databases will store images and so the builder must be able to construct a database of images for the website to draw upon also.
The successful candidate would also be capable in utilising Google Maps API (amongst other APIs) to retreive results (based on the GUI inputs) back into a 'cache' for further steps. This will not be required on this project - but successful completion of this project will lead to the developer being rehired on a second phase of the work.
A simple outline of the architecture is attached.
The candidate would ideally be based in Singapore, however, if nobody from Singapore of suitable standard applies, I would happily consider other options.
I have already purchased a domain name with godaddy and would grant the succesful candidate access to develop the site at that location.
