DESCRIPTION OF THE SELLING SYSTEM
CO BUYING/CO SHOPPING: members can set quantity of products to sell, paying method, name of products, category, subcategory, description of the product, can upload a picture (1 for free other to be paid), shipment method and price, destination country availability (worldwide, italy, Europe, usa, Canada, asia, Africa, south America, etc. other; no shipment-delivery by hand), expiration date of the sale (24 hours; 2 days; 3 days… 15 days) products status (used, new, special offer). when a member want to sell several pieces of the same product he can set a cobuying selling proposal. The more people buy the product, the more its price goes down. The seller can manage the percentage of reduction in price for each minimum group (or number of people) of buyers. Example given if a seller want to sell 100 products “A” which cost 100 he can decide that from 1 to 3 buyers the price is the same (100) then from 4 to 10 the price will be lower (95) then from 11 to 20 is still lower (90) and so on… The seller can easily and freely decide the options about the minimum number of people and the relative reduction in price. The seller can create a co buying offer for free but will pay a percentage per each product sold (the percentage in the beginning won't be paid) [the admin can set the amount of this quota percentage]. When a member want to subscribe into a co buying team he must pay a fee [this fee will be set by the admin and the fee will be the earning of the “admin” company which owns the system].
The potential buyer will have several options to buy the product. In fact, when he joins a cobuying team he can decide if he will buy to ANY PRICE, or just to the minimum price made available by the seller or can decide to buy whitin a certain price range. For example when the seller creates the cobuying offer this one will be as follow:
- from 0 to 10 buyers product price = 100
- from 11 to 30 buyers product price = 90
- from 31 to 50 buyers product price = 85
- more than 51 buyers product price = 80
So when a buyer joins this offer he: pays the fee then will subscribe his offer and will have the following options:
- price from 90 to 80
- price from 85 to 80
- only 80 = minimum price
- price = 100 = maximum price
Each cobuying offer has an evaluation date within wich the seller (and the admin) can see how many people have joined the cobuying offer and will send them products to those conditions.
All people which joined the offer will receive an email when the offer will be expired with the final status.
The number of member interested in buying the product is displayed so everybody can see how many members will buy the product and how its price will be lower.
When a buyer must buy the product because the offer has been closed in his desired range of price, he will have an email and will be invited to pay the seller. We'll also consider the opportunity to use click and buy to keep a reservation of funds.
The homepage will show some top offers and some “last minute” offers chosen random among these kinds of offers in the website. Top offers are offers for which sellers pay an amount [set by the admin from time to time]. Last minute offers are offers wich are expiring.
Each offer wille be categorized and subcategorized
Each seller will have a page with all its offers
When a users clicks on an offer to see details or to join the deal will appear the icon “tell to a friend” which will allow him to send one or more emails to his friends inviting them to subscribe the offer.
SYSTEM FEATURES
- Sign up, log in, lost password recovery.
- One time special offer pages, after successful signup. (This is a page new signups will only see once, if they turn down the offer, the page will be gone forever) These offers will be set by the admin from time to time.
- Most wanted products of the week/year/overall. (displayed on homepage, and displayable site-wide) The customer can complete a kind of wishlist
- Search product description/brand/item/category/model/seller/price
- Search products available to any particular country.
- Browse categories, brand, item, model, seller.
- Built in affiliate program. Can be turned on/off. Affiliate sign-up, log-in, business center (area with html code, banner with link, email sample and other material to promote the web site; earnings and commission monitor). Earning and commission plan will be set later by the admin
- Site can be viewed via xml and on mobile devices
- Members can interact sending messages from the one to the other, they can also use an internal chat system (between buyer and seller when they're available)
- Selling options:
- Second category: users can sell the product in a second category different from first one. This option is to be paid.
- Additional pictures: users can add other pictures (1 picture for free) paying a quota for each picture added
- Top offer: users can buy this option to see their offer random in homepage
- Best offer: users can buy this option to see their offer always in home page for 7 days
- Bold: user can pay to have bold for his title
- Evidencing: user can pay to have its insertion in evidence and can select the color of the evidence
- Counter: user can put an access counter into its offer. For free
- Top presence: user can pay to make its insertion listed at the top position of its category. Best offers already include top presence, top offers will follow
MEMBERS AREA FEATURES
- Feedback exchanged between members after each trade and a 1-10 rating given. (feedback can only be read by logged in members)
- Members can choose which countries they are prepared to trade with.
- Members can suggest new categories to be added.
- Members can add products to their wish list, and they receive an auto email telling them when the product becomes available in the network.. Example given: I want to sell my car and when I put this car for sale in the community I can view how many people are waiting for a car like mine in their wishlist.
- Members can submit support tickets from the member's area.
- Members can edit the methods of payment they accept (The site should work seamlessly with paypal clickandbuy and credit cards)
- Members can access to their watch area to watch the status of offers they are interested in or they have already joined
- Members can interact with other members using an internal chat and a messaging system (see ebay – ask a question to the user)
- Create and generate the invoice
- The seller can monitor everything about its offer
ADMIN FEATURES
- Add sub-administrators and select which admin features each sub admin can access.
- Select what countries / continents are allowed to join the community.
- Mass mail entire membership, affiliates, or filter by country, sex, age, interests.
- Add/remove/edit categories. (product categories, just like eBay)
- Freeze, delete, re-activate member accounts.
- Edit yearly/monthly/weekly membership fee, or fee per transaction, fee per special options (bold, gallery, ecc.) or turn fees off. Fees can be calculated in percentage on the amount of the selling setting a minimum too (or without setting a minimum) or can be calculated as a fixed quota. Admin can manage what kind of fee to apply per each category of products
- One time special offer page on/off.

ADDITIONAL FEATURES
