This is a tool (a single page app or a simple website) that will be used to create proposals in PDF format to be sent to clients. Each proposal is custom-made and could be over 50 pages long. The tool has been designed to make the process as simple and clean-cut as possible.
The front end of the platform should be written in HTML with animation/functionality using jQuery and Javascript. HTML5 is preferred. The backend should be coded using PHP and MySQL. If you prefer to use different code, we are open to suggestions, but please inquire with us before doing so.
The outputted PDF document will consist of several elements:
1. Page Designs that will be auto-filled using Values from forms
2. A Table of Contents that will have auto-generated page names and numbers
3. Pages and Documents that are permanently inserted
4. Documents that are chosen from a library and inserted
5. Documents that are uploaded from the user’s computer and inserted
The developer will be provided:
• The design for the platform
• The design for the auto-filled pages (what they should look like before and after being filled in)
• Documents and pages that are permanent
• The documents to be inserted into the libraries
• Any artwork or extensions necessary
The platform should be built so that adding documents to libraries from the backend, accessing previously created documents, and making any foreseen changes design or development-wise is an easy task.
