504146 SQL update script

I have a query that works:

SELECT `product_name`, `manufacturer_id` FROM `jos_vm_product` INNER JOIN `jos_vm_product_mf_xref` ON `jos_vm_product`.`product_id` = `jos_vm_product_mf_xref`.`product_id` WHERE `manufacturer_id` = 5;

Now I want a similar script to update the field product_desc. So for the same selection as the above query. At the end of this field product_desc I want to add "text".
