Customize Joomla Component - Add Teams to Event Booking

We are using a Joomla component called Events Booking on our website to allow people to register for races (running races). We would like to add an extra feature so that when people sign up for a race they can register their team, and then other users can be a part of that team. Here is an example of how it should work from the front-end:

Scroll down to "Organization" where two teams have already been created. Users can select from one of these teams, or click on "Create a team..." to add a new team.
From the admin section we just want to add a new admin field called "Allow Teams". If this is selected then the team option will be available for that event. Teams are for each event, so if a team is created for event XYZ, then that team will not be available for event ABC.
We are looking for someone experienced in Joomla development to help with this project. It needs to be done within Joomla standards and needs to be completed in 1 week (max). We have many similar customization projects of this goes well.
