Write a code that captures visitors mouse movements

The task of this project is to write a javascript or jquery code that will be placed in a website and save it into mysql.

1. User will be identified by IP

2. Will save the coordination X, Y of movements

3. Will save the coordination X,Y of clicks

4. Will save the current page

5. Will save browsers screen resolution

I am into coding but I do not have much free time, so I know what is easy and what is not. For example, to save the IP, current page, and screen resolution is 2 minutes of coding.

The implementation must be ASYNCHRONOUS.

What you should look for is attaching a mousemove event listener to the root element of your webpage (body?) and make sure to specify the capture phase by setting the useCapture parameter to true in your call to addEventListener. Check the "DOM event model" for more details, the diagaram is pretty self-explanatory.

a quick and dirty example should look like this :

var coords=[];

var callback = function(e) {

// save your mouse coordinates somewhere

[login to view URL]({x:[login to view URL],y:[login to view URL]});

}

[login to view URL]('mousemove',callback,true);

Of course you'll need to figure out how to push these coordinates at some point to your server (and perhaps just save a sample of the coordinates).
