Logo design

A new logo design is needed. The logo should be able to stand by itself or with the company name (Appoch, LLC).

The company name is a combination of "Applied" and "Epoch". The concentration is on prototyping, engineering, and innovation.

The definition that resonates the most is:

applied: Put into practice or a particular use

epoch: A particular period of history, especially one considered remarkable or noteworthy.

I would like simple shape(s) to create a complex seeming logo (Not necessarily polygons, but combination of curves). The logo should demonstrate an outward expansiveness while also conveying a motion of culmination. Possible colors include, light grey, dark red, dark green, black, orange. The colors are only suggestions and not requirements.

Please, provide a link or sample to an existing logo.

No existing clipart or designs. Must be done from scratch.
