We need to develop a store locator for iphone.
THere has to be a lite (free) version and a full(payment version) the only difference between version is that we give partial data in free version.
The application is intended to be downloaded from the Apple iPhone App Store and used to locate the nearest store from your current location or from an address defined manually.
Graphics will be developed by us and will be given detailed information about texts and details.
This is a two language application.
The store locations will be displayed on google maps with options to find walking or driving directions to a particular store.
the application must be a native iPhone app that can be downloaded and installed from the app store.
the application must detect the current GPS location and the location based on network available by ipod touch(that has not gps)
the application must allow the user to select an alternative starting location
the application will read the location of all stores from a webservices provided by our company and developed under your specifications (xml)
there are 3 categories of stores the application will show nearest stores (inside 100 km) and order them by type. type 3 will only be available on payment version.
tapping on the a particular store will show the store details (with logo, 3 photo, txt, some specs displayed by icon)
the application will display, using google maps, directions from the current location (or user-specified location) to the store.
the application will allow the user to switch between walking and driving directions to the store.
Additional content must be visible inside the app (informations and promotions). they must be syncronized via web when the user open the application, and remain visible when the user has no internet connection. there date will be jpg banner (with promo) or other data via XML delivered by our server or webservices developed upon your specifications.
The project covers all development, user interface design, testing and deployment on the Apple iPhone App Store.
All source code must be delivered with the application.
final confirmation about the starting date of the works will arrive around 20/02/2010
development timing will be 40 working days.
