I work for a government agency in Canada and I need an idea of how much it may cost to design and develop a web site that shows information currently contained in a printed publication.
It is important that the information displays well on mobile devices. The content should be stored in a database with approximately 100 records, with about 10 text fields and 5-7 pictures of plant parts (flower, leaves, roots, seed, whole plant). The user should be able to browse on the basis of a picture index, or filter by keywords. Query results should show relevant images with descriptive text (up to 1200 characters). The database should be easy to update (replace images, text, add/delete records) without programing knowledge.
