I would like to build a online cards app with a fighting theme. It will be sort of a mini rpg simplified game.
In this game, player 1 will register with a form or Facebook credentials and will be able to choose an online opponent, player 2.
When player 2 accepts the challenge, the game begins.
The main game screen will be split in two:
In the top half of the screen, there will be graphics of the 2 fighters. Will the score of the game and some other info in the upper part of the screen. The fighers will move according to the cards that are pulled by each player.
In the lower half of the screen there will be the cards. Obviously each player will only see his own cards.
In the begging of the game each player will be distributed with a certain number of cards, like the were shuffled. And the player can move with the finger to navigate and see all his cards.
The game will happen in turns. So player 1 picks one card and click a button to use that card in that turn. Then his fighter will make a certain move that is contained in the card.
Next, player 2 will pick a card and his fighter will make a move.
New turns will take place until there is a winner who managed to apply a "winning sequence" of moves or the cards are over and there is a winner by points or a draw.
Players will have their fighting records saved and showed to other players on line. For example, John Doe W 15 - L 3 - D 1, age 20, from Michigan, USA.
There will be a global ranking of players.
Players will be able to BUY new cards with real money. They will also win some new cards as they play and win more fights. AND THEY WILL WIN SOME NEW CARDS IF THE INVITE FACEBOOK FRIENDS.
