We need to create a new documentation website for our software product. We would like to create simple clear documentation, available in an online format so that our customers can access it when they need help or are learning about the software.
Based on the number of features we need to document we expect that the total work will be around 150-170 pages approximately. We would expect that each page would contain a mixture of instructional / explanatory text and images.
There are five main modules that need to be documented and we would consider breaking this project into chunks per module for delivery and review.
NB: although the project is to deliver a website we are looking for a writer to do this work rather than a website designer. The majority of the work is writing work, not web design, although experience with digital / web writing is preferred. We are a technical company so we can provide some technical resources to get a new site set up.
Ideally we would like to see examples of similar online writing projects that you may have completed in the past.

May I suggest a different approach? Developers and designers are awful at writing. Why not let us develop the website and then hire a technical writer to take care of the content?
