An Arduino with Atmega 328 controls an eval Kit GP21 by acam.
The TDC is controlled via SPI.
The digital timing is done for a start and stop signal with rising edge.
TDC-MRange2, single hit, 1Start, 1Stop, digital input
Data output via RS232 or USB (Arduino)
Permanently, the processor generates a start pulse at a distance of 1 ms. The stop signal (TTL) reaches 10us 3 µs later. The eval-Kit GP21 by acam is the standard application of the TDC. Register of all configurations are known. The mode of operation is continuous.
The datenausgabe is carried out continuously.
All program data is on the Web site of acam.
As a milestone, a code to write is agreed the configurations register and the reading of the result register.
The code must be compiled. The mode of operation single measurement.
The test of the program takes place with a real TDC. The result of the TDC must be read with a standard terminal program via RS232 or USB and verifiable.
The end result of the project is a continuous operation mode. The rate of measure is 1 or 10 kHz. The measured values are continuously issued as moving average of 1000 measurements.
The program language bascom or Arduino. When programmed in C, the Arduino code must run.
A real time measurement shall operate as a milestone.
The payment is done via pay pal.
