I am an English-trained lawyer with admission to the Bar of Trinidad and Tobago as an Attorney-at-Law. My areas of practice include commercial, business, contracts, torts, civil litigation, property, trusts, estate planning, immigration, aviation, and trade law, which leverages upon my diverse professional portfolio...I am an English-trained lawyer with admission to the Bar of Trinidad and Tobago as an Attorney-at-Law. My areas of practice include commercial, business, contracts, torts, civil litigation, property, trusts, estate planning, immigration, aviation, and trade law, which leverages upon my diverse professional portfolio which includes management consultancy, operations management in a technical/electronic security integration capacity, aviation training, flight operations and professional legal practice. I have also undertaken training in "know your client" procedures, AML (anti-money laundering) practices and the effective oversight of compliance programs. In the earlier stages of my career I completed courses in real estate brokering, project management, information technology and alternative dispute resolution. I am a dual citizen of Canada and the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago (Caribbean) and have worked in both my native Caribbean, the United States, United Kingdom and Canada. My avid interest in aviation led me to qualify as a commercial pilot and flight dispatcher and I hold valid licences and certifications in aviation from the U.S.A, Canada and Trinidad and Tobago. Apart from my legal and aviation pursuits, I lectured in aviation for two years in the U.S.A (Florida) and I am currently listed as a sessional (part-time/adjunct) professor in the business faculty of a Canadian university with the full-scale development of two undergraduate courses as some of my academic accolades. Naturally, this fusion of education and practical work experience makes me a natural fit for aviation legal projects, as well as supply chain and transportation management projects. To this end I am a director for a Canadian freight forwarding company and regularly tackle projects involving end-to-end logistical planning, compliance management, and supply chain risk mitigation. I am well-traveled throughout the Americas and United Kingdom with native English-speaking competency and basic proficiency in Spanish. mindre
