We are building a website for a boat brokerage that will sell electric propulsion boats. We have a logo, see attached, which is a low resolution image. We would like to have it redone so that it says Green Yachts not Green Yacht Sales. Also, it might be worth playing around with the size of the boat and the dolphin as the boat looks a bit small and the dolphin a bit big. But, LET ME BE VERY CLEAR: IF YOU SUBMIT A LOGO DESIGN, YOU WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED AN ENTRANT IN THIS CONTEST, THE CONTEST WILL BE JUDGED ON THE BEST WEBSITE DESIGN!

From there, we are looking for a design for a website using a color scheme that matches the color scheme of the logo. Images created in the design need to be able to be used by a programmer to build the website. The main page should be a video and you can use this video if there is a way to get it from the following website or if you can't, I can get it for you: https://arconayachts.se/

Other websites I think have great designs include https://www.zillow.com/ and https://us.camposcoffee.com/ and https://seastreak.com/ - especially SeaStreak as I like the menu options at the top being over the picture and not in a menu bar, but I think the lettering may need to be a bit bigger and please note when you hover over the menu on SeaStreak, the submenu options pop up and the design/color of this pop up is needed too.

In general, I want the website to look professional, beautiful, minimalist, inviting and innovative. We are selling boats that are tomorrow's boats and we need to appeal to early adopters. And, we would rather the website be simple rather than complex.

    Can I be very clear, the logo is NOT the contest. So far I see a bunch of logo entries. That is not what this contest is about. It is using the logo to design a website look and feel that incorporates the logo that I included.

      This is probably the best entry so far. A few points of feedback. 1. Just in case you or anyone wants it, the menu headings we have are: About Green Yachts, Electric Propulsion, Other Green Solutions, Boats for Sale, Service and Support, Community. 2. I really like the picture of the solar panels on the boat. I don't know if we want a static picture as we want a video, probably one that we create from a few different videos, but I think we could use that picture somewhere. 3. The lettering and the logo are quite small. I would think they both need to be bigger. 4. You spelled "contact us" wrong. 5. For a tag line, we haven't finalized one. You had Boats of the Future, which I appreciate, but it is not what we are going for. Where we are right now is: Inspired Boats, Clean Oceans

      I am not the most technical person. I will just say that they need to be in a format that is easy to use for a web designer. I don't think that is coding, but an easy to use image that can be used by them. I don't want a web builder to do design. I want someone who is good at design to design and then I will pick a web builder to put the website with a bunch of functionality that I want to have and integration into boat listings sites. In other words, this contest is purely about design (of the website!) and not about coding.

    By the way, I am putting comments on individual entries. Is everyone able to see the comments I make on other entries? I basically saying in all of them that this is a website design not a logo design contest.

      Yes we can, i'd recommend rejecting the entries that you are 100% certain you don't want. This declutters the competition and makes it easier for you, especially when 100's of entries are made.

    Could you please rate/reject submissions that you like/don't like? Or else submissions are going to become extremely cluttered and good designs will get lost in the middle of all these random submissions. Thanks!

      No, photoshop. They just have to be elements of design that are easily usable by whoever does the website.
