I am building a semi-custom deck of playing cards. For that, I want to design an elegant border for the front of the cards. This border will convey information about the game through different textures and colors.

EDIT: I have attached a second pic. This one with no color, but with each region outlined.

CARD FRONT

On the front of each playing card, there is a custom border. That border will include:

- a line border

- A: a Bubble in the corner of the card. The background of this bubble needs to be subtle enough that the playing card number and icon are still very prominent. The background will be in 4 different colors and/or textures (Red, Green, Blue, Gold).

- B: a band around the bubble. This band should be as prominent as the playing card number and icon inside the bubble. This band should be elegant and vibrant. The band will be in 4 different colors and/or textures. (Red, Green, Blue, Gold)

- C: the actual card edges. This edge border in 8 different colors and/or textures OR

- C: the actual card edges. This edge border in white, and the card interior (inside the line border) be in 8 different colors and/or textures. (Red, Green, Blue, Yellow, Purple, Orange, Gray) If this option, the color and texture must not interfere with the playing card icons

The front border has to be subtle. It should remain obvious the card is a playing card. For example, the red 10 and red heart icon (from the attached file) should always be very clearly visible.

CARD BACK

I would like a textured back that makes the cards look like regular playing cards.

ICONS

6 icons, including the playing card icons (spades, hearts, diamonds, clubs) plus 2 other icons in Green: stars and shields (see attached file).

These icons are simple, low key, solid color icons.

MOST IMPORTANT

I made this images, just as placeholders. The design, hues, textures, etc. are all open for creative design.

Elegant is the key. The primary colors used in my image are just to show the areas to be created.
