Parachute - Modern Badge for Rugged Adventurers
Bring the natural/rugged feeling while preserving the modern aesthetic was my goal when designing for Parachute. The core design is a badge/patch much like those used by Park Rangers, Military Member, and Boy/Girl Scouts. Each element of the design was designed to expand that feeling. • The outer circle serves as a border for the badge. The details on the side were designed to look like rope or embroidery both serving the adventure vibe. • The middle ring hosts our company name "Parachute" and a small explanation "Mini Rugged Computers." The explanation can be changed in a follow-up design if needed. The circuits (which look like the USB symbol) are designed to look like circuits and sort of like branches of plants. • As we enter the inner circle we see a micro-pc with a parachute, an echo of your last logo. The parachute has been cleaned up and the micro-pc simplified for a modern look. The curved lines behind them are rolling hills, to emphasize the concept of nature.

Sounds good. Thanks for the follow-up. BTW, Some of the other submissions are trying to copy your designs. Freelancer charges extra, but i think I'll spring for the closed submissions next time. Both to protect ideas and to get more originality. Thanks.

I'm going to award this one, just so I remember the color version, which i particularly love. But I think the circuit design you submitted is the one I'd like to go with. Do you understand what I mean, or do you want to submit another one with the color and black and white versions, but with the circuit icon?

I understand. I will submit the Circuit (color version) as a 3rd entry in this contest since that is the only way I can deliver it to you.

The USB icon is too recognizable as USB I think. Can you put something else there, like circuitry or a carabiner or something.
