I have written a short book: "Read This Before You Take any College Math" on the review necessary to succeed in college. (I am a professor at a 4-year university, and have been for 18 years.) I need someone to provide approximately 50 short, simple illustrations to make the reading more compelling. The drawings must be multicultural, simple, and black and white (grey scale is ok, png file with white background)

Here's a simple thing to illustrate:
Someone throwing a purse or bag out a window.

Here's another:
Someone looking at a tub of ice-cream wondering how many servings they can get out of it.

The different drawings should, appeal to 20-something-aged undergraduates: men, women, black, brown, white. Not each drawing, but the drawings as a whole.

I will pay $50 for these 2 drawings, and then we can be in touch for other drawings.

The Artist grants the me exclusive reproduction rights, excepting that the Artist retains the right to use the Artwork for self-promotion, in the Artist's portfolio, for the production and sale of prints, cards, calendars and similar products, and for inclusion in collections of the Artist's work, provided that the Artist does not use the Artwork in connection with a literary or cinematic work of any kind. The Client's right to reproduce the Artwork is unlimited provided that such use is in connection with or to promote the Client's product.

In the event that copyright assignment fails as a matter of law, the artist grants me (the client) an exclusive, irrevocable, fully paid up universe-wide license to use the artwork in any work, any form and on any media currently in existence or invented in the future.

  Well, it's just a silly example, and I have not reason for the person throwing the bag out the window. It will illustrate a point about the distributive property in the book. I'd like the people to look cheerful, or cartoon-y, nothing violent unless it is also sort of funny or ridiculous as well as violent. The purse can have some pens and pencils falling out of it if you like.

  thanks for the update...can you possibly reduce the time period of the contest? people dont participate in such long term contests...max 4-6 days are enough and you will get more entries quickly... I might not win anyway but you will definitely get some good entries
