Hello, I need to create an ad that will go up in our city buses to appeal to the foreign students who are studying English in Santa Barbara. Our company, California Explorer provides tours to tourist destinations such as Disneyland, Los Angeles, San Francisco Las Vegas, Grand Canyon, Six Flags as well as local activities such as beach events, local hiking and shopping. We are growing our Facebook presence, and we want to direct the students to our website, Californiaexplorer.net, which is evolving into an online guide to all the important things they need to know during their stay in California.

This ad will go up in each of the city buses so it will be something they see going to and from the language schools they attend. You can use any of the images or graphics that are found in my newsletter or use other images that are not copyrighted. I can send you original files of the newsletter material if we feel it will make a better finished product. Our logo should be fairly prominent.

I am doing this as a contest, which will have a winner awarded $40 guaranteed. However, if it is good enough that I can end up using it, I will pay a bonus of an extra $40.

I want the language schools to be named somehow in the ad. This way the students, say for example, from EF can see that this ad relates to them and that they have the opportunity to meet students from other schools. This one is the best so far, but still not something that I would use. Imagine that these students are on the city bus and their eyes are wandering around to the different ads on the strip above the seats. What is going to draw their attention to our ad and make them take the time to read it and then be interested to find out more about us. We want them to see our website in bigger letters. It could event have a screen shot of our website and our mobile site so they become familiar with it. We have facebook specials and if they like us on Facebook, they can keep up with our specials and get updates.

Also, unlike the cover of our newsletter, the main focus of our add is the trips that we offer, such as Vegas, San Francisco, LA etc. We are trying to appeal to students who are attending the local schools and to let them know that California Explorer is the best option for them for traveling and for local fun. We want to direct them to our website, californiaexplorer,net It should advertise our low prices and that our trips are open to all the different language schools such as EF, ELC, ELS, Kaplan, SBCC, SBBCollege and UCSB
