Konkurransesammendrag

I need an identity designed for a new entertainment news website. The website focusses on UK television soap operas (Eastenders, Coronation Street, Emmerdale and Hollyoaks) and Australian soap operas (Home and Away / Neighbous), and will cover news related to the shows' characters, cast and storylines.

It will have a primarily UK-based audience, with a smaller audience from Australia and potentially the US. The site is called:

Everysoap

I'm undecided as yet on how this will be styled (e.g. everysoap / EverySoap / Everysoap) so am happy to take advice from the designer. PLEASE NOTE, after having reviewed some of the early submissions, it is very unlikely that I will go for a logo set in all capitals (EVERYSOAP), so I recommend staying away from this unless you are very confident in your suggestions. The site will most likely appeal to females between the ages of 18-44.

I am looking for something professional and modern. Entertainment website identities can sometimes look tacky, and I want to stay away from this. I don't want iconography (e.g. soap bubbles to represent soaps, or a TV in the logo, etc) unless very clean and professionally designed.

MORE THAN JUST A LOGO
I'm looking for a cohesive identity for the site. I want a logo, as well as brand elements (textures, graphics, etc) that can be utilised on printed materials, site backgrounds, banner adverts, email marketing and so on in the future. I will thus want all the individual elements provided in a high quality format, preferably in vector form if appropriate. I will certainly require the logo to be provided in vector form.

So far, I'm considering a 'folded letters' look, like the attached. This has been made up using a series of designs found on a popular stock image site - so please note that this is just inspiration rather than something I want copied. However, I am a big fan of this folded letter style, especially the style on the top row of the image, so could be something to consider. I do also like the purple/orange/pink/blue gradient colour scheme - but am absolutely open to other suggestions.

The logo would ideally be able to be adapted into a combined 'es' ligature for use in smaller formats, such as social media logos.

Clarification questions are encouraged, so please don't hesitate to let me know before beginning the contest.

PLEASE NOTE
1) The copyright for the final accepted design must be transfered to myself
2) The logo and all elements MUST be original, with no international trademark issues
3) The logo must be suitable for use online and print
4) The final output files should be delivered in high res PDF, JPG, PSD and EPS format.

I don't have a set preference - but I do like the colour scheme of the top row of images in the PSD I provided (purple/orange/pink/blue). Something that's 'feminine' but without being overly so.
