BRIEF:

Hi,

My company aVRtars enables users to create a 3d avatar for use in virtual reality games.

I wanto create a logo like the drawn one below. This is head wearing a virtual reality goggles. The mouth is optional.

It is inspired by the head icon attached, which was downloaded from:
https://www.iconfinder.com/icons/285720/avatar_boy_character_child_human_male_man_people_person_pupil_student_user_users_icon#size=512

I like that image because it is PLAYFUL, and NON-TECHNICAL.

The logo should be monochrome vector - when in use it will be pink-purple.

A further inspiration is the Virtual Reality head used in the Oculus TOYBOX demo:

If possible, can the logo be more gender neutral. The boy one i referenced is not very masculine, and could also pass as female.

  Definately. However, as a background - we are trying to reach the non-technical people who will use Virtual Reality. So we want the logo/icon to be friendly but simplistic.

Could we avoid transparency/semi-through goggles - that is hard to do in monochrome renders of the logo. An outlined headset would be great.

Thanks so much, the initial designs are in the right direction - my feedback is to keep it simpler. I want the icon to be iconic-ly simpler like the twitter symbol. The boys face I referenced is inline with that simplicity. The goal is to have a similiar head but integrate a monochrome VR google shape over the front.

Please don't use the boy image exactly as it is, because that is a copyrighted image from that website. I'd love the logo though to be very similiar in terms of the head shape and the hair.
